Recently, we asked you to share your "Power Within" story – one that exemplified the core values of Briggs & Stratton customers: a can-do spirit, a satisfying feeling for a job well-done and an insatiable desire to pass on knowledge to the next generation. To say thanks, we gave away an Ultimate Garage Package, valued at over $6,500!

We were very pleased to have received so many entries. Stories ranged from an engine enthusiast who used a Briggs & Stratton lawn mower engine to power a custom-built locomotive to a family that named their three children Briggs, Anne and Stratton.

We received the winning "Power Within" story from Tim Ingram, who shared a personal story of how Briggs & Stratton intertwined with many memorable moments in his life: learning how engines work from his father, mowing lawns for his first job and later sharing this knowledge with his own children.
